It’s Elemental: Golf Rules in British Columbia
Earth and water, air and sun: the elements that forged BC’s landscapes have also created some of the finest places to golf in British Columbia.
Lakeside golf in the relaxing Shuswap, at a unique, Indigenous-owned and operated golf resort.
Talking Rock, set on the shore of Little Shuswap Lake meanders up and down the mountainside. Graham Cooke designed the 7,129-yard course to take advantage of the elevation changes, particularly on the back nine. Talking Rock ends with a breathtaking 18th hole along the shoreline of Little Shuswap Lake and blends with the strong features of the land. An 18-acre driving range academy completes this resort experience for golfers of all skills and abilities. The course, which also blends rich Indigenous history with Indigenous art, is located at the Quaaout Lodge, which is the proud development of the Little Shuswap First Nations Band and recognized as one of the top public golf courses in Canada.
